PIHRO has consistently worked to strengthen access to justice and uphold the rule of law and the principles enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Our justice-focused interventions prioritize marginalized and vulnerable populations who often face systemic barriers in securing their legal rights.

Teacher Training Program

PIHRO successfully launched a Teacher Training Program aimed at enhancing the pedagogical skills, professional competence, and classroom management capabilities of teachers from primary through secondary levels. This program emphasized modern teaching methodologies, inclusive education strategies, and effective school management practices.

Uniquely, it was implemented on a self-help basis with strong participation from local community members, many of whom volunteered their time and expertise. The program’s community-driven model fostered ownership, ensuring that its impact extends beyond the training sessions. PIHRO now aims to transition this initiative into a sustainable, ongoing capacity-building platform for educators nationwide.

Seasonal and Refugee Schools

Seasonal and Refugee Schools

Recognizing the educational needs of displaced and marginalized populations, PIHRO established seasonal schools in rural and underserved areas during summer breaks, ensuring continuity of learning when formal schools were unavailable. Additionally, community-based schools were set up for nomadic groups and Afghan refugees in scattered settlements and refugee camps.

Distribution of Educational Materials and Clothing

To address material poverty as a barrier to education, PIHRO organized nationwide collection drives for textbooks, school supplies, and clothing, distributing them to children from low-income families and Afghan refugee communities. These efforts not only provided the necessary learning tools but also restored dignity and confidence among vulnerable students.

Educational Awareness Campaigns

Educational Awareness Campaigns

Through community walks, seminars, and public gatherings in remote areas, PIHRO promoted the value of education, particularly for girls and marginalized youth. These campaigns addressed cultural barriers, misinformation, and economic concerns that often prevent children from attending school, aligning with SDG 4.

Scholarship and Financial Assistance Programs

PIHRO is implementing a scholarship program for academically gifted but financially disadvantaged students at the school level. Additionally, a financial assistance scheme supports deserving students in securing admission to medical and engineering institutions, enabling them to pursue higher education in fields critical to national development.
